FBD Insurance required a comprehensive refurbishment of their office space in Mullingar, with an emphasis on incorporating their six core values into the design.
The project aimed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the office, aligning with the “New Look” vision proposed by Tap Creative. The key requirements included:
- Guidance on look and color scheme with flexibility for contractors to select materials.
- Integration of FBD’s six values into the design, particularly in specific areas downstairs and upstairs.
- Clear visualization of the proposed changes to facilitate decision-making and budget approval.
Project Scope
The scope of work included the following tasks:
- Removal and disposal of existing desktop screens and carpets.
- Supply of crates for staff to clear desks.
- Supply and installation of office furniture, breakout furniture, canteen booths, and two 4-person meeting pods.
- Installation of new carpeting and blinds on both floors.
- Installation of vinyl prints, neon signage, wooden signage, and painting of walls in two tones.
- Supply and installation of slatted walls on the first floor and canteen.
iGate provided a 3-D visualization with proposed furniture, which played a crucial role in securing the project by helping FBD visualize the end result. The project started on February 9th, 2024, and was completed ahead of schedule on April 2nd, 2024.
The response to the “New Look” project has been overwhelmingly positive. FBD employees have expressed great satisfaction with the new office environment, citing the design and functionality improvements. The feedback from FBD highlighted the project’s success:
