Channel Mechanics, an award-winning tech company founded in 2010 on Ireland’s west coast, has seen significant growth over the years, expanding to additional offices in Dublin, London, and Houston, Texas.
With their headquarters in Oranmore becoming too small, they identified a new, spacious location on the fourth floor in Ballybrit Business Park, perfectly situated near Galway’s scenic Wild Atlantic Way.
Client Requirements
Channel Mechanics sought a specialist team to design an office space that reflected their company ethos and accommodated current and future growth. They required a versatile layout that could adapt to their expanding team, with a modern and cohesive aesthetic.
Project Execution
Site Visit and Layout Proposal: The iGate Interiors team conducted a thorough site visit and submitted a proposed layout demonstrating a flexible, growth-oriented design.
Showroom Visit: Channel Mechanics visited iGate’s showroom to visualize the impact of different furniture pieces and colour schemes on the overall office look.
Office Transformation: Upon finalising the aesthetic choices, the iGate Interiors team began by stripping out the existing offices and floors, creating a blank canvas. New office spaces, meeting rooms, and a kitchen were then constructed. The project also included:
- Installation of new electrics and extensive IT cabling.
- Fitting of desktop chargers.
- Selection and placement of carefully chosen office furniture to complete the look.
The new headquarters in Ballybrit Business Park provides Channel Mechanics with a modern, functional workspace that supports their continued growth and success.
